Install Docker on a Raspberry Pi.. (easy)

  1. Download Raspbian Lite
  2. Use Etcher to create a bootable SD-card
  3. Add an file named SSH (no extension) in /boot touch SSH
  4. Insert SD and start Raspberry
  5. find IP-adress using ping raspberrypi.local Or find it in your router.
  6. SSH into your Pi: ssh pi@IP-adress password: raspberry
  7. change some stuff if you like: raspi-config (like your password etc.)
  8. Set network to a fixed IP of your choosing: See This Post
  9. sudo apt update
  10. sudo apt full-upgrade (‘full’ includes dependency upgrades)
  11. Then follow the steps on to install Docker.
  12. Done!
